The Administrative Office is located in the Main Building of the college. The Administrative Office is functioning under the control of Administrative Officer. The organizational setup is given in the report.Every year an advertisement is published in the leading newspaper regarding the issue of applications for admission to BE courses on payment of cash or on production of DD for the prescribed amount. On receipt of the filled applications are verified and 50% of students are selected by a Selection Committee, following the minority norms. Further 50% students are also selected through DOTE / Anna University Counseling according to government norms. Details of eligible students are sent to various government welfare departments for getting scholarship in respect of SC / ST, MBC, DNC and BC.

The appointment of Teaching & Non-Teaching staff is being done by release of an advertisement in leading newspapers. They are appointed on the basis of their qualifications to the respective posts they apply and the appointment is given after careful selection and orders are given subject to the condition that the appointment is subject to approval of Anna University in respect of Teaching Staff.

The tuition fees are collected by cash / DD and payment can be made in the Indian Overseas Bank, Cheranmahadevi in favor of SCAD Engineering College, Cheranmahadevi.
